Greetings! Last week your members received their Region IV 2009 Conference Registration Forms in the mail. Unfortunately, in order to meet the mailing deadline the Conference Education Committee had to prepare the course list and flyer before all the classes were finalized. The education flyer that was distributed with the Conference Registration Forms is already obsolete, but in a very good way! Attached is a new registration form, which includes course information to assist members in selecting their courses. Notable changes from the original education flyer are:
· Original flyer indicates a $45 charge for CE classes. New flyer provides ALL education, including CE, at NO COST to registered conference attendees.
· New flyer opens up education sessions to guests who are NOT registered for the conference. These guests may attend Thursday and Friday classes, including CE for a nominal $45 charge.
· CE classes are confirmed and details provided in the updated flyer. Included is final determination of CE approvals from the states of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky.
· Additional workshops have been scheduled for you to choose from.
· Round Table topics have been confirmed, and details provided in the updated flyer.
Will you please forward the updated document to your Local Association Presidents, with instructions to forward WITH THIS EMAIL to their membership? We have a GREAT educational program lined up for the conference attendees, and I hope we can count on all of you to encourage high turnout. The education committee has worked hard to deliver great value to attendees and their sponsoring employers; the rest is up to the members to take advantage of it!
