Committee Update – January 15, 2008
At
the January membership meeting it was determined that we will change the name of
Insurance Women of Columbus Ohio to Insurance Professionals of Columbus Ohio.
This
will be effective for the next membership year. National will be notified of the
name change. A review will be
done to determine what documents need to be updated to reflect our new name.
Columbus
Ohio rather than Central Ohio was chosen because there are other associations in
the central Ohio area and other associations with Central Ohio in their names.

The
motion to clarify the standing rule on National Conference delegate was also
passed. The standing rules will be
updated.
