Columbus, Ohio.

Treasurer’s Report-Diana Howell
Diana read the Treasurer’s report for the time period of
March 4, 2010 through April 1, 2010. The
report will be filed for audit. If
any member wants a copy contact Diana.
Bylaws Report-Heidi Kugler
No report.
Audit and Budget-Angie Schmitt
No report other than the bulletin deadline is April 15th.
Heidi Kugler reported that the next fundraiser will be held during the
May meeting and it will be a Silpada party.
Catalogs and order forms are available.
Jewelry will be set up for viewing starting at 5:30pm on May 6th
at BOMA and orders will be taken until 8:30pm.
Pre-orders and gift certificates are available and will be considered
part of the same order. Please
bring checks or credit cards if you are planning on purchasing anything, though
checks are preferred.
Safety-Michelle Ackermann
Michelle reported that $150 was used to purchase coloring
books for the police department. Another
$150 was donated to the Firefighters Memorial Fund.
TIKE stickers are available and more can be ordered if needed.
Community Service Report-Karen Lawson
Karen announced that more volunteers are needed at the Mid
Ohio Food Bank for April 7th. If nobody else volunteers, we can
reschedule.
Education-Kon Chittavong
Sherry Distelhorst reported reported for Vikki Angelo that
2 $500 Lillian Lane scholarships were awarded through the Griffith
Foundation.
Membership-Julie Williams-No report.
Old Business: The Nominating Committee will report at the
May meeting.
New Business: None
Announcements:
Ohio Insurance Education Day was March 24.
Ohio Council Education Day is April 30-May 1.
You will need to register soon.
Ohio Council Director’s visit will be at the May 6th
dinner meeting. The cost of the
dinner meeting on May 6th will be $25 instead of $20 due to the
location change to BOMA. Parking is
available at State Auto. BOMA is
located across Broad Street from State Auto.
NAIW National Conference is June 9-12.
Angie reported that she has some award nominations but
would like to see some additional ones. Please
have all nominations in by April 5th.
